Seven Leinster players in Magners League 'Dream Team'

There are seven Leinster players in the Magners League Dream Team, voted for by Rugby supporters and the media for the season 2007/08.

Ironically, six of the seven Leinster players can be found in the pack with the entire front five of Ollie Le Roux, Bernard Jackman, Stan Wright, Leo Cullen and Malcolm O’Kelly and number eight Jamie Heaslip joined by out-half Felipe Contepomi. Munster centre Lifeimi Mafi is the only Munster representative in the side.

Contepomi reacted: "To be included in the Dream Team again alongside a number of my Leinster team-mates is a real honour and rounds off a fantastic season.

"Winning the Magners League title was a great achievement for us, and it is a huge challenge to perform as well in the Magners League next year," he said.
