In the battle of Cork's top flight sides, Cork Constitution proved the stronger in a three-try win at Temple Hill.

Upwards of 4,000 spectators were present to witness the clubs' first ever AIB League clash at Temple Hill.

Dolphin opened the scoring with a Barry Keeshan penalty but a Tom Gleeson try and two Richie Lane penalties had Con 11-3 ahead at half-time.

Recently retired Munster winger John Kelly helped set up a try for Lane and Cronan Healy grabbed the clinching score.
