Garryowen continued their fine run of form by disposing of Galwegians at Crowley Park today for their eighth AIB League win in succession.

Tries in either half from second row duo Frank McKenna and Mark Melbourne kept the visitors' play-off push on track, with full-back Conor Kilroy contributing 10 points.

Playing against the wind, Galwegians were left trailing 10-0 at the break but Melbourne's 57th-minute breakaway score put the result beyond doubt.

Winger Alipate Tuilevuka scored a late consolation try for the hosts.
