O'Sullivan shrugs off 'ill-informed' criticism

Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan has shrugged off criticism of his management following Ireland's recent slump in form.

O'Sullivan has been under fire since the disappointment of the World Cup and is facing fresh calls to step aside following last weekend's Six Nations defeat to Wales.

However, he claims some of the criticism he has been subjected to is unfair.

"There's a lot of opinion out there," he says. "People have to write stuff and others have plenty to say.

"Some of the opinion is right, the criticism is fair, but some of it is wrong and ill-informed. Not everything that is written about me or the Irish team is accurate, fair and true.

"As a coach, if you get hung up on what is being written, then you'll have a miserable life."
