England centre Mike Tindall looks set to miss the rest of this season’s RBS 6 Nations Championship after suffering a serious injury against Twickenham conquerors Wales yesterday.

England centre Mike Tindall looks set to miss the rest of this season’s RBS 6 Nations Championship after suffering a serious injury against Twickenham conquerors Wales yesterday.

The Gloucester star is under observation in a London hospital after suffering bruising to his liver.

The Rugby Football Union say at this stage he is unlikely to play any further part in the tournament.

Fellow injury victims David Strettle (foot), Tom Rees (knee) and Lewis Moody (Achilles) have all been ruled out of next Sunday’s Six Nations clash against Italy in Rome.
