Dallaglio announces quit decision
Former England captain Lawrence Dallaglio has retired from international rugby with immediate effect and will end his playing career at the end of his Wasps contract in May.
The 2003 World Cup winner is expected to be present at a Wasps press conference scheduled for lunchtime today where he is set to discuss his decision.
Speculation had been rife about the 35-year-old’s future and his good form since the World Cup in France suggested he may have extended his deal with Wasps.
However, Dallaglio said he will end his playing career completely after the current Guinness Premiership season.
