Lochore stands down as All Black selector
Former New Zealand coach Sir Brian Lochore has stepped down from his role as an All Blacks selector.
Lochore, 67, was part of a four-man panel alongside coach Graham Henry and assistants Steve Hansen and Wayne Smith for four years.
“I was there to assist them, having a bit of World Cup experience I suppose,” Lochore told Radio Sport.
“It’s an appropriate time to end my involvement.”
There will be no replacement for Lochore, the 1987 World Cup-winning boss, on the panel.
