Murphy in for Munster squad

Centre Barry Murphy has been included in the initial 25-man Munster squad for the first this season at home to Leinster in the Magners League on Friday.

Murphy has prepared by lining out with UL-Bohemian and scoring two triues for Munster A against Leinster A last week - a good omen if ever there was one.

Alan Quinlan underwent surgery on his thumb and will be out of action for eight weeks.

Other than that, there are no further defects from last week. Anthony Foley Niall Ronan and Donncha Ryan will all push for inclusion inh place of Quinlan.
