Injured O'Connell not included in Munster squad

Captain Paul O'Connell is still not fit enough to join a 26-strong Munster squad for the weekend Heineken Cup clash with Clermont Auvergne.

Ireland international prop John Hayes and Ian Dowling have been named in the group, however.

Last week, illness forced Dowling to withdraw from the Munster bench on the morning of the game against London Wasps and Hayes was forced from the field with a neck injury.

Munster complete their preparations for Sunday's game with a training run in Cork on Friday after which the side to play Clermont Auvergne will be announced.
