Ashton hopes for level-headed performance

England head coach Brian Ashton believes whichever team “controls its emotions” best will be in the driving seat to win the World Cup semi-final against France.

His side have arrived at the last-four stage despite suffering a tournament record 36-0 loss to South Africa four weeks ago.
