Welsh captain to undergo scan

Wales captain Gareth Thomas will undergo a scan on Tuesday after suffering rib cartilage damage in yesterday’s 32-20 defeat to Australia.

Thomas was replaced just 22 minutes into the game after a collision with Stirling Mortlock which caused the injury near his sternum.
