Denis Hickie, who had been suffering from a bout of tonsillitis since the team's arrival on Wednesday evening, took a limited part in the session today, but is expected to take his place in the Ireland team to play Namibia on Sunday.

The only other injury in the Ireland camp was Shane Horgan, who is recovering from his knee ligament strain.

Horgan also took part in the session today and also a strenuous fitness session with fitness & conditioning coach Mike McGurn.

Horgan remains on course to be available for selection for the second Group D match against Georgia.
