Reigning Under-20 Interprovincial champions Leinster fell to a disappointing 15-5 defeat to Ulster in Greystones RFC today.

Ulster were dominant for long spells in the game and led 8-0 at the interval after a Stuart Lester try and a Harry McAleese penalty.

Lansdowne number eight, Patrick Mallon, scored a try to give the hosts some hope with a quarter of an hour to go.

It made for some tense closing moments for the visitors, but a last-minute try from Chris Cochrane, converted by Tommy Seymour, sealed the points.
