Success for Leinster U-20s
The Leinster Under-20s recorded their second victory of the season when they beat the English Counties 22-9 at Rugby Lions RFC, Birmingham on Saturday.
In tough conditions, the reigning Inter-provincial champions get off to a good start and led 15-3 at the interval after tries from Brian Cawley and Ciaran Egan, with impressive kicker Martin Dufficy chipping in with a penalty and a conversion.
The hosts drew their players from the North, Midlands, South and South East regions and though they would add two more penalties in the second half, a last minute David Kearney try - again converted by Dufficy - sealed an excellent win ahead of the start of the Interpro series.
