Horgan makes World Cup squad despite injury

Shane Horgan has been included in Ireland’s World Cup squad and will be given until the Georgia match on September 15 to prove his fitness.

Horgan was named on the bench for yesterday’s 31-21 defeat by Scotland but twisted a knee during the pre-match warm-up and was immediately withdrawn.
