Edinburgh promise 'massive' announcement

Edinburgh Rugby owner Bob Carruthers has called a press conference for this afternoon at which he claims the ongoing dispute between his club and the Scottish Rugby Union will be moved on in a “massive way”.

The dispute centres primarily on the distribution of Magners League and Heineken Cup fees, with Carruthers claiming the SRU owe Edinburgh a six-figure sum, which the union deny.
