Border Reviers centre joins Exiles

London Irish have completed the signing of Bryan Rennie on a one-year contract.

The South African-born centre, who qualifies for Scotland through his father joins from Border Reivers, where he spent the last season after a spell with Watsonians.

London Irish director of rugby Brian Smith said: “Bryan is another utility back that has performed well for Borders.

“He is a hard running centre who is very highly rated by Gregor Townsend.

“He is exactly the kind of player that will be vital for us during the World Cup period and beyond.”
