Leinster ‘best supported team in Magners League’

Leinster are set to become the Magners League’s best supported team this season - based on the highest average gate.

Leinster have had more than 112,700 spectators at their home games in Donnybrook and Lansdowne Road this season at an average of 12,525.

This is up from an average of 3,234 (2003/04), 4,385 (2004/05) and 5,804 (2005/06). This represents an increase of 115.4%.

This is a remarkable increase given the growth of the game across both the province and the country in recent times.

In addition, Donnybrook is sure to be packed on Saturday for the last home match of the season against The Borders as Leinster continue their quest for the Magners League title.
