Wicklow RFC host Leinster Underage Cup at Ashtown Lane

Next Saturday, April 21, Wicklow RFC plays host to this year’s end of season Girls Rugby Blitz.

Teams will be coming from Armagh, Wexford, Thurles, Ardee, Virginia, and Gorey, to compete against Wicklow RFC U-15 and U-18 girls.

Kick-off is at 11am and all teams will be competing for two Leinster Cups. Up to eleven underage teams will compete throughout the day in order to gain their spot in the finals.

They will play a series of games, having to qualify from their section to progress in the competition, culminating with the U-15’s final at 4 pm and the U-18’s final at 4.45pm.

A great day is expected with what promises to be a thrilling day of entertaining rugby and a great event for Wicklow RFC and Girls’ Rugby in Leinster.
