Scotland may have finished bottom of the table and in possession of the dreaded wooden spoon, but winger Sean Lamont insists the team can take a lot from this year’s RBS 6 Nations Championship.

A hit-and-miss seven-week campaign for the Scots came to a dramatic conclusion in Paris yesterday when they were beaten 46-19 by France, a result which secured Les Bleus the title on points difference.
