Munster expect a bumper crowd for their first game at Musgrave Park in five months, when Cardiff come to town at 7.40pm Friday.

More than 6,000 tickets have already been sold for this Heineken Cup rematch, and fans are advised to buy in advance.

Munster trained at Thomond Park today, probably for the last time before the famous ground’s redevelopment begins.

Coach Declan Kidney announces the team tomorrow with a major decision to be made at hooker, with Frankie Sheahan and Jerry Flannery both chasing the number two jersey.

Munster welcome John Kelly, Trevor Halstead and John O’Sullivan back from injury, increasing competition in the three-quarter line.

The same applies to Ian Dowling, Barry Murphy, Lifiemi Mafi, Christian Cullen and Shaun Payne, making the selection interesting.

Mick O’Driscoll is also in the squad and could be a contender for number eight.
