Con extend lead at the top
Cork Constitution 28 Lansdowne 20
Cork Constitution went seven points clear at the top of the Division One table today as they ran four tries past Lansdowne at Temple Hill.
Early tries from winger Cronan Healy and full-back Denis Hurley set up the Leesiders' fourth league win on the trot.
They did not have it all their own way - a 27th-minute try from winger John Coleman, allied to full-back Robbie Dolan's eight-point kicking haul, had the sides level at the break at 13-13.
But Con's pack bossed the second half and hooker Robert Quinn (51 minutes) and prop Colm Murphy (79) scored the decisive tries.
Scorers: Cork Con: Tries: Denis Hurley, Cronan Healy, Robert Quinn, Colm Murphy; Con: Richie Lane; Pens: Lane 2
