Leinster select Ireland A players for Edinburgh tie

Coach Michael Cheika has been able to select Ireland A players Rob Kearney, Kieran Lewis, Ronan McCormack, Trevor Hogan, Jonathan Sexton and Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Player of the Month Bernard Jackman in his side to play Edinburgh in the Magners League in Donnybrook on Friday, kick-off at 7.30pm.

The gifted Niall Ronan starts in the back row beside Stephen Keogh and Jamie Heaslip. Chris Whitaker and Felipe Contepomi will give them solidity at half-back.

There is also a chance for 6'10" second row Devin Toner to partner Hogan in the second row and Fergus McFadden will be on the bench for the first time.
