O'Driscoll may play, Stringer a doubt

Ireland hope to have Brian O’Driscoll available for Sunday’s RBS 6 Nations clash with France following an upbeat verdict on his hamstring injury.

But the Irish camp will be making contingency plans for the possibility that scrum-half Peter Stringer may miss out with a hairline break to a metacarpal in his right hand.
