London Irish prospects Delon Armitage and Dominic Shabbo have both agreed new contracts with the Guinness Premiership club.

The three-year deals will keep them with the Exiles until 2010.

Full-back or wing Armitage, 23, has played in all the club’s fixtures this season, while 20-year-old Shabbo has featured on the wing this term after recovering from a serious knee injury.

Irish rugby director Brian Smith said: “It is a real boost for the squad that two talented young players like Delon and Dominic have committed themselves to the club for another three seasons.

“Both players are capable of performing on the international stage, and I have no doubt we will see them realise that potential before long.”
