Jennings back with Leinster

Leicester Tiger Shane Jennings will return to his native Leinster on a three-year contract in the summer.

Jennings has made a massive impact as an out-and-out openside in the Guinness Premiership and the Tigers strained every sinew to keep him at Welford Road.

Leinster chief executive Mick Dawson said: “We are delighted to announce that Shane has re-signed with the province. Shane is an accomplished forward who will add greater competition to the Leinster backrow.

“He has shown outstanding leadership qualities throughout his career and we look forward to welcoming him home to Dublin next summer.”
