Ulster Rugby and second row Matt McCullough have strenuously denied an allegation that he racially abused London Irish full back Delon Arbitrage in last week's Heineken Cup clash.

Ulster Rugby and second row Matt McCullough have strenuously denied an allegation that he racially abused London Irish full back Delon Arbitrage in last week's Heineken Cup clash.

Ulster issued a statement today saying McCullough has apologised by way of letter for the use of foul language towards Arbitrage in the heat of the moment during the match.
