Dungannon 29 UCD 24

Dungannon came from 24-0 down to beat UCD 29-24 with out-half Richard McCarter bagging two tries.

Having lost their last six league games outside of Leinster, UCD made the journey north with little hope but they were on fire in the first half.

Ian Keatley and Fergus McFadden over for tries with Leinster’s Rob Kearney adding the third.

McCarter touched down in first half injury-time to give the hosts some encouragement, and UCD flanker Louis Burke’s sin-binning saw the visitors concede 12 points.

A penalty try, McCarter’s second and maul-over efforts from Nigel Brady and Stuart Lamb saw Dungannon succeed.
