Changes to Connacht for Montpellier clash
Connacht have announced their squad ahead of Friday nights European Challenge Cup Pool 4 match with Montpellier in the Stade Sabathe.
There are four changes in the squad which beat Montpellier 26-13 at the Sportsground last Friday.
Conor McPhillips, Ryan Strudwick, Matt Lacey and Darren Yapp are all called back into the squad in place of John Hearty, Brendan O’Connor, Ray Ofisa and David Slemen.
Connacht Squad (v Montpellier): Andrew Farley, Adrian Flavin, John Fogarty, David Gannon, Chris Keane, Stephen Knoop, Matt Lacey, Keith Matthews, Mark McHugh, Conor McPhillips, John Muldoon, Conor O’Loughlin, Colm Rigney, Daniel Riordan, Ted Robinson, Ryan Strudwick, Brett Sturgess, Michael Swift, Paul Warwick, Brett Wilkinson, Gavin Williams, Darren Yapp.
Not included due to injury: Ray Hogan (calf), Ronan Loughney (knee), Joe Merrigan (leg), Matt Mostyn (ankle), David Slemen (hamstring), Tom Tierney (knee).
Tickets for Connacht’s New Years Eve Magners League encounter have been selling very well. It is expected that this will be an all ticket sell out, so supporters are urged to buy their tickets early.
