Clontarf win sees Harlequins remain rooted

Clontarf moved up to fourth in the table as they easily saw off bottom side Belfast Harlequins at Deramore Park today.

‘Quins remain the only Division One club without a win after tries from hooker Niall Carson, lock John Duffy, scrum half Fiach O’Loughlin and prop Kenny Dorian saw ‘Tarf pull clear.

Home skipper Johnny Lowe struck for an early try but ‘Quins only add 11 points from the boot of young out-half Niall O’Connor.

‘Tarf led 15-7 at the interval – Duffy bagged his second try in the space of a week – and O’Loughlin deservedly sniped over in the second half.
