Ticket sales for Leinster v Ulster game near record

The number of tickets sold for Leinster's Magner's League tie with Ulster at Lansdowne Road on New Year's Eve are selling fast.

Sales are approaching what would be a record 25,000.

This match is being billed as "The Last Stand" as it will be the final game played at the old stadium before it is tore down for redevelopment.

Tickets for this match, as well as the Heineken Cup tie against Agen in Lansdowne Road on Saturday week are on sale now from www.leinsterrugby.ie and www.ticketmaster.ie
