Exiles suspend hooker
London Irish have suspended hooker David Paice for a week following his tackle on Bath forward Zak Feaunati in last Saturday’s Guinness Premiership clash.
Paice still faces a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing next Monday after being cited following the alleged dangerous tackle on Feaunati.
Irish, who described the incident as a “careless tackle”, banned Paice following an internal disciplinary meeting.
It means he will be unavailable for tomorrow night’s Premiership appointment with leaders Gloucester at the Madejski Stadium.
