League leaders Bohemians lose to Lansdowne

Division One table-toppers UL Bohemians lost for the first time in the AIB League since January as Lansdowne beat them at headquarters.

Liam Toland’s fired-up Lansdowne side were 15-0 ahead after 20 minutes.

Flanker Jim O’Donovan showed great pace to dot down after three minutes and a lineout steal allowed full-back Robbie Dolan in for the hosts’ second try.

Dolan kicked a conversion and a penalty as Lansdowne led 15-7 at the interval.

Bohs fought to the finish with winger Martin McPhail (36 minutes) and centre Colman Finn (67) bagging converted tries, to earn the visitors a bonus point.
