Clontarf secured their first win of the league season as flanker Declan Quinn scored their only try at Castle Avenue today.

Clontarf full-back Darragh O’Shea, who tallied up 11 points, kicked the only points of the second half from a 35-metre penalty. Out-half Peter O’Brien was also on target with a sweetly struck drop goal in the first half.

Scorers: Clontarf: Try: Declan Quinn; Con: Darragh O’Shea; Pens: O’Shea 3; Drop: Peter O’Brien
