Captain John Fogarty will be back from injury on time for Connacht's clash with Quins.

Captain John Fogarty will be back from injury on time for Connacht's clash with Quins.

The team have announced their squad to play NEC Harlequins in the opening game of the European Challenge Cup at the Sportsground on Friday, kick off 7pm.

Fogarty has recovered from the shoulder injury which forced him to miss the 16-9 win over Newport Gwent Dragons at the weekend and he is included in an otherwise unchanged squad.

CONNACHT v Quins: Andrew Farley, Adrian Flavin, John Fogarty, David Gannon, Ray Hogan, Chris Keane, Keith Matthews, Mark McHugh, Matt Mostyn, John Muldoon, Brendan O’Connor, Ray Ofisa, Colm Rigney, Daniel Riordan, Ted Robinson, Brett Sturgess, Michael Swift, Tom Tierney, Paul Warwick, Brett Wilkinson, Gavin Williams, Darren Yapp.

Players not considered due to injury: Stephen Knoop (back), Matt Lacey (shoulder), Ronan Loughney (knee), David McGowan (hamstring), Joe Merrigan (foot), Michael Diffley (ankle).

The Connacht team will to play NEC Harlequins will be announced on the Connacht website www.connachtrugby.ie on Thursday between 11am and 12 noon.
