Azzuri secure World Cup berth

Italy crushed Russia 67-7 in Moscow today to make certain of their place at the 2007 World Cup.

Kaine Robertson crossed the try-line twice in the opening half, while Mirco Bergamasco and Pablo Canavosio added a brace each in the second half to help steer the Azzurri to victory.

David Bortolussi also added 22 points to Italy's total with his boot.

Alexandr Khrokin scored Russia's solitary try after 70 minutes.
