Winger Darren Yapp is doubtful with a leg injury and it remains to be seen if he will be fit to participate.

Connacht are hoping to build on their impressive opening-night victory over Border Reivers, in which they triumphed 29-15 in Netherdale.

Connacht coach Michael Bradley said they were hoping to hit the ground running in Scotland on Friday evening, especially as this is the first of six games in the Magners League in which Connacht will be at home.

Following the game against Ospreys, Connacht will entertain Llanelli Scarlets, Edinburgh Gunners, Leinster, Ulster, and Newport Gwent Dragons at the Sportsground.
