Wallabies to bring big squad for November Tests
Ireland are sure to face a powerful Australia side in the November International at Lansdowne Road on Sunday, November 19.
Coach John Connolly will bring a Squad of 37 players and he believes the tour should be about building towards the 2007 World Cup in France.
"A squad of 37 will go away and, at this stage, I would be very surprised if many were rested," he said.
In addition to the four Tests, Australia will play four mid-week matches and Connolly is planning to use the tour to gain a true impression which players will make the cut for the 30-man World Cup squad.
"It's fair to think that any of the players that go on that tour we would hope would be in the framework for the World Cup," he said.
"So you could probably think that, if you're not in that 37, it could be tough to go to the World Cup unless you were left behind because you were injured."
