Ireland face Scotland, Italy in RWC warm-ups

Ireland will play Scotland and Italy in friendly internationals in August 2007 as part of their Rugby World Cup warm-up schedule.

Ireland will play Scotland and Italy in friendly internationals in August 2007 as part of their Rugby World Cup warm-up schedule.

Ireland will begin their warm up programme on Saturday, August 11 when they take on a rejuvenated Scotland team at Murrayfield.

They will then take on italy at Ravenhill on the weekend of August 24/25/26.

The games against Scotland and Italy will be the final fixtures of a 12-match schedule for Ireland in advance of their opening Rugby World Cup match on September 9 in Bordeaux against the African qualifying team.
