Kelly forced to withdraw from Ireland squad
Munster back John Kelly has been forced to withdraw from the Ireland rugby squad for the summer tour to New Zealand and Australia due to a shoulder injury.
Kelly was suffering from a shoulder strain that he picked up while playing for Munster and remained with the Ireland squad to have his injury assessed and treated during the pre-tour training camp in Limerick.
The shoulder has not recovered sufficiently and Kelly's place in the touring party has been taken by his Munster team mate Anthony Horgan.
