Limited space available on ferry to final

Space may still available on Irish Ferries sailings for Munster fans travelling to Saturday’s Heineken Cup final in Cardiff.

While the full-up sign has been posted on some sailings, some places are available to fans “provided their travel plans are flexible”, according to the company’s sales manager Declan Mescall.

The ferry company is set to carry around 7,000 fans on their services from Rosslare to Pembroke and from Dublin to Holyhead over the next two days.

In an effort to create a festive atmosphere for the occasion, vessels are being decorated in Munster colours.
