Biarritz's Agustin cited
Biarritz's Benoit Agustin will appear before an independent disciplinary committee in Dublin on Friday, May 5 after he was cited for an incident in the Heineken Cup semi-final against Bath Rugby at the Estadio Anoeta last Saturday.
Agustin is alleged to have gouged Danny Grewcock and there is strong evidence from Sky Sports cameras that Agustin has a case to answer for the contravention of Law: 10-4 (e), in that he allegedly committed a dangerous tackle on the Bath No 5 Danny Grewcock, and contravention of 10-4 (k), in that he appeared to make contact with Grewcock's eye in the tackle.
The independent disciplinary committee will be chaired by Rod McKenzie (Scotland) and also comprise Mike Rafter (England) and Richard McGhee (Scotland).
