AIB Cup champions Cork Constitution are safely into the Division One semi-finals after today's three-try triumph over St. Mary’s.

Con chalked up their fifth League win on the trot to move into third in the table and end fifth-placed UL Bohemians’ play-off dreams.

Hooker Des Murray touched down in the first half to help Con go in at the break at Temple Hill with a 5-3 lead. Irish Under-21 out-half Jonathan Sexton kicked Mary’s points.

Further tries from lock Merle O’Connell and full-back Richie Lane, who kicked a conversion, saw Con move clear. Centre Conor Quaid tagged on a penalty.
