Bates considers citing O'Driscoll

Border Reivers coach Steve Bates has admitted that they are considering whether or not to cite Leinster captain Brian O'Driscoll for an alleged stamp on Nikki Walker in the Celtic League last Friday night.

"What happened was in full view of our coaches and subs at the touchline, but also a lot of supporters, including young kids, so we are very concerned," said Bates.

"Fortunately, Nikki doesn't seem to have suffered anything serious, but we are looking at the footage carefully and are seriously considering citing O'Driscoll."

None of the match officials saw the incident.
