Hayes hospitalised by virus

Ireland prop John Hayes spent last night in hospital with a viral infection picked up in the aftermath of yesterday’s 31-5 Six Nations triumph over Wales.

Hayes, who played the whole match, will be released from hospital tomorrow and should be available to face Scotland at Lansdowne Road on March 11.
