We were poor, admits O'Connell
Ireland’s man of the match Paul O’Connell admitted his side were well off the pace in their 26-16 victory over Italy in the RBS 6 Nations at Lansdowne Road.
Jerry Flannery and Tommy Bowe, controversially, both scored tries with the boot of fly-half Ronan O'Gara doing the rest, although Mirco Bergamasco’s try was the least the Italians deserved.
