Coach Michael Bradley will give prop Ray Hogan and second row Andrew Farley as much time as he can to recover for Connacht's Celtic League match against the Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade on Friday.
Dan McFarland and David Gannon have been added to the squad as cover.
