First home win for Belfast

Belfast Harlequins 13 UCD 8

Belfast Harlequins handed new coach Andy Ward his first league win at home as they edged UCD 13-8.

College were 8-0 up at half-time thanks to a try and penalty from fly half Killian Lett, who was deputising for the Leinster-tied Eoghan Hickey.

Two penalties from Michael Glancy brought ‘Quins, who started with Ward in their pack again, right back into it and they clinched victory, late in the second half, from a try by former Ireland Under-21 lock Lewis Stevenson.

The victory shifts 'Quins up to ninth.
