Horgan out for weeks

Munster wing Anthony Horgan will be sidelined for several weeks after injuring his knee in the loss to Glasgow last Saturday.

It is a cruel blow to Horgan, who had been showing razor sharp form at the start of the season and it is difficult to put a time on his return given that it is ligament damage.

Number eight John O'Sullivan will be missing with a calf injury and Peter Stringer is doubtful for Friday's home clash with Llanelli.

But Lions Johnny Hayes and Paul O'Connell will be available for inclusion in the Munster squad to be named later on today.
