Leinster have trounced Italian side Parma in a pre-season friendly in Naas.

The Lions won 57-14, scoring eight tries in the process, with three for Robert Kearney, the Irish Under-19s captain.

It was the provincial side’s first match under new coach Michael Cheika.

Leinster will play another friendly against Northampton on a newly resurfaced Donnybrook on August 26 ahead of the start of the Celtic League in September.
